About Christine Rae-Jones

Christine started her career as a scientific civil servant working with the armed forces before moving into forensic toxicology at St George’s Medical School and then the United Medical Schools of Guy’s and St Thomas’ in London. She moved into analytical instrumentation sales before starting her own skills development business for providers of science, technology, healthcare and engineering solutions. She is a qualified civil and commercial mediator specialising in divorce management and negotiation. Chris also served as a magistrate for eleven years in criminal courts.

Having read in excess of 1300 crime and thriller novels, she is using her recent relocation to the coast as an opportunity to write her own. She takes inspiration from solitary walks on the beach where her protagonist, DI Nick Morgan, might be found walking the family dog.
